This morning’s workout was brutal. It was 75 degrees at 6am, and I’m pretty sure I lost half my body weight in sweat. This was my last tough workout before Grandma’s Marathon next Saturday. My long run this weekend will be just 90 minutes, and I’ll do one run with some short (1200 meter) repeats to remind my legs how to run fast. Other than that, I’ll be doing a bunch of easy miles over the next 9 days.
