Andy’s Daily Run – week of 8/12

Crazy week. Work was insanely busy and threatened to hinder training – got to keep my priorities straight, right?

8/12 – 2.5k swim; 45min easy run

8/13 – 1 hr bike

8/14 – 2k swim; Run – 20 min start easy build to steady aerobic, 5 x (1 min 10k pace, 1 min easy pace), cool down

8/15 – 75 min bike

8/16 – 2k swim; Run – 15 min warm up + dynamic stretching, 12 x (2 min @ 10k pace, 1 min easy pace), 2mi cool down; bike – wasn’t scheduled but did an hour extremely easy

8/17 – Bike: 2:15

8/18 – Bike: 1:35; Run: 30 min right off the bike, starting easy pace & ending marathon pace

Total training time this week – about 12 hours

Countdown to Riverbluff Olympic Tri – 21 days
